I am a born-in Oregonian and I love the Pacific Northwest. My happy place is out in nature, with my 11-year-old daughter Eva and our pup Major. We love hiking, camping, exploring, and being in nature.
Surrounded by dogs is where I love to be! I find we have a lot in common and I am fascinated by their world. This love and curiosity, along with my experience volunteering and fostering dogs over the years, is what led me to start my own dog care business.
I am also passionate about the environment and creating more green spaces. I spend a lot of time working in the yard building native habitat for pollinators and eradicating invasive plants. I work with Friends of Trees, the Sierra Club, the Bird Alliance of Oregon, the Oregon Bee Project, and Bee Friendly Gardening.
In August of 2024, I left my full-time job and began my Rover journey, among other adventures (substitute teaching with ESS, waiting tables, and driving Lyft). I absolutely loved my time with the dogs and I found myself more and more turning down my other gigs to book more dogs. By the end of April, I was thinking I need to do this full-time and I started looking into the necessary steps to start my own dog care business. I am overjoyed to be launching this new business and embarking on an adventure that I hope will last me a lifetime!
I am always looking to increase my understanding of dogs and improve my methods and approach to giving them the best care possible. I recently earned my training certification with GoodPup and am now offering positive reinforcement training both in-person and virtually (https://goodpup.com/).
